One of Baron’s Core Values is “always do the right thing”. In order to fully embrace that core value Baron Properties, our sister companies, and our employees passionately support a number of local philanthropic initiatives.
Extreme Community Makeover (“ECM”) is a movement of volunteers working in partnership with residents of specific Denver neighborhoods to complete home and neighborhood improvement projects. These projects include graffiti removal, landscaping, painting, yard work, or other projects identified by residents. Groups such as churches, companies, families, and schools may participate. Baron employees participate in multiple ECM days throughout the year.
Denver Rescue Mission is changing lives by meeting people at their point of need with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens. Groups of Baron employees assist in meal preparation and serving to the homeless multiple times throughout the year.
Roundup Fellowship is a non-profit service people with developmental disabilities associated with behavior problems since 1973. Their goal is to promote dignity in all relationships while helping people with disabilities become as productive and independent as possible. On an annual basis Baron employees sponsor a home and fulfill individual Christmas wish lists as well as other items needed to the household.
Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona (HFHCAZ) is dedicated to building, renovating and repairing simple, decent and affordable homes for families of modest means. For 30 years, HFHCAZ has focused on providing solutions to the growing affordable housing crisis in Maricopa and Pinal counties. Baron Phoenix employees participate in various Habitat for Humanity events throughout the year.
Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation has helped transform the hospital into one of the most respected and nationally ranked children’s hospitals in the US. In 2016, Baron was the Kid’s Zone Sponsor of the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation Distance for the Difference event.
